This document gives step by step instructions on how you can set up an intranet for your company using an open source software called Open Space.

Social Accounting

Social accounting is a process that seeks to measure progress and performance against social, environmental and economic objectives. By doing this it allows organisations to prove and improve their performance and impact and increase their accountability to stakeholders. The process involves the collection, analysis and interpretation of descriptive, quantitative and qualitative information.

Social Enterprise Business Support in the East of England

This is a summary of the research undertaken in the spring of 2007 to identify what business support is available to social enterprises. A spread sheet has been prepared that shows specifically which organisations are offering what level of support and to what extent it is publicly funded. (This is located on the SEEE website click here to view it).

It should be stated that the level of expertise has not been addressed in any detail as part of this study. Recipients have self-identified as having expertise in particular fields and this was not challenged by the researchers. Some agencies and organisations have professional qualifications such as accountancy or legal but there is no evidence that this is specific to the needs of social enterprises.
