  • Fulfilling Our Potential

This is a report of a 2-day exploration of opportunities created by policymakers who are committed to seeing Social Enterprises play an increasing role in service delivery, social cohesion, and economic development. The event marks a point in a developmental process which should lead to growth opportunities for Social Enterprises in the region.

These opinions and experiences might help the understanding of the nature of these opportunities; to identify some issues for further investigation and development. The 12 participants are involved in running, representing, and/or researching Social Enterprises in the Eastern of England. Their enthusiastic participation in this exploratory discussion is acknowledged and appreciated.

  • Going for Growth

This is a collection of 'Going for Growth' case studies. Belinda Bell has been commissioned by SEEE on behalf of a Capacity Builders project called Information, Networking and Influence to produce this document, Oct 2009.

  • INVESTING IN COMMUNITIES SUPPORT FOR SOCIAL ENTERPRISE DEVELOPMENT

The aim was to identify to what extent social enterprise development is being supported by sub-regional partnerships to which EEDA has devolved responsibility for allocating IiC budgets. The intention was to contact the managers of the sub-regional partnerships and the co-ordinators of the sub-regional social enterprise networks and ask them about the resources that had been allocated to date. If projects had been funded, then we would also speak to the project managers (if these were different to the sub-regional network contacts).
