An interactive forum to discuss future opportunities in the social finance market, both for social enterprises and charities looking to receive investments, and for those entrepreneurs looking to make investments.

In particular, we will consider:

  • how charity bonds have been used and how they will be used in the future;
  • how the Social Investment Tax Relief (SITR) can be used and whether it will contribute to the growth of the sector; and
  • how adopting a social enterprise structure could be useful for more 'private sector' businesses.

Helena Wilkinson: Head of Charities and Social Enterprises with Price Bailey to chair the event.

Phil Caroe, Director of Social Finance of Allia a leading participant and innovator in Social Investment, will summarise Allia's recent experience and enlighten us on the future of this rapidly growing and exciting sector.

Tamsin Eastwood, Senior Associate with Stone King, will summarise the principal requirements of Social Investment Tax Relief and discuss case studies which can take advantage of SITR.
