Event description:

The ideal course for new managers - giving you tools and techniques to ease the stress

Overview
New managers often suffer stress and disillusionment in the first few months due to a lack of skills. Our Moving into Management training course removes these stresses and concerns and gives you the tools and support you need to step into your first management role.

You'll develop the skills and confidence to work effectively and you'll be able to prepare for situations you might encounter in your new management role.

We'll cover:
•    key features of an effective manager
•    roles and responsibilities
•    managing people and resources
•    teamwork
•    communication
•    responding to a range of management situations

Benefits to you
You'll leave with the extra confidence to assert yourself and be effective in your managerial role. In addition you'll meet and get to know other first time managers, so you can develop a support network of like-minded people.
