Introduction to Enterprise: Developing Enterprising Attitudes and Behaviour

As part of our quest to develop enterprise across the region, Swarm is pleased to launch new bite-sized workshops across Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex. The days are designed to introduce delegates to developing enterprising attitudes in the workplace and becoming more accountable for measuring and maximising their own impact/return on investment.

Developed by Swarm Enterprise in conjunction with leading business author and entrepreneur Robert Ashton (Swarm's Founder), the workshop is based on our already successful Enterprise Skills raining programme. The interactive day is designed to introduce employees of organisations into starting to develop a more entrepreneurial and commercial attitude in the workplace, whilst at the same time inspiring them to measure their own impact/return on investment.

The aims of this workshop is to help the delegates be able to:

  • Understand the benefit of defining the organisations purpose

  • See their place within the bigger picture

  • Understand why fear of failure inhibits innovation

  • Win the support of others both within & outside the organisation

  • Take and hold control of conversations

  • Develop networking & negotiation skills

  • Gain commitment from colleagues, customers and others

  • Understand the importance of measuring their own impact and return on investment
