Social Enterprise UK are looking to bring together members of the social enterprise sector with policy makers and experts to explore some of the key ramifications.
Some of the issues to be discussed will be:
- The implications for the markets in which social enterprises are operating - public commissioning, grant funding, private sector
- The implications for social enterprises themselves - employment law, business support, procurement, recruitment, exporting and more
- What does the future hold, and what should the sector's message to government be?
- The role of social enterprise in tackling some of the root causes behind the divisions in the country: inequality, lack of opportunity, poor social mobility
As well as contributions from key speakers, there will be plenty of scope for discussion and debate on what the next steps for the sector should be. We hope you'll join us and be a part of it.
