Dementia Adventure receives Innovation 50 Award

Dementia Adventure is honoured and excited to announce that it has been recognised as one of Essex's top 50 innovative businesses as part of the Innovation 50 programme. The programme is a joint initiative between Essex County Council's Essex Innovation Programme (EIP) and Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) to support business growth in Essex.

A variety of small and medium sized businesses across Essex have received the award as recognition of their work. These businesses will now be offered support and advice from the Essex Innovation Programme to help them continue to grow.

Cllr Kevin Bentley, Cabinet Member for Economic Growth and Partnerships, Essex County Council said:"This initiative has shown that Essex is true a hotbed for innovation and entrepreneurship with a huge range of businesses, all of them ripe for development and poised for growth. The sheer number of applications we received, and the range of businesses applying, shows that it is truer than ever that Essex means business. We are committed to supporting our businesses and help them grow and prosper."

The organisation is delighted that its work has been recognised by this initiative and are looking forward to continuing to develop its work in supporting people living with dementia to live better lives, by having access to supported holidays and adventures in nature and the outdoors, enabling them connect to themselves and their communities.
