CDS Announce New Contract to Provide Oral Health Promotion Services in Leicestershire
Social enterprise, Community Dental Services (CDS) is the new provider of the oral health promotion service in Leicestershire from 1 August 2015.
The CDS oral health promotion team will continue to be based in the heart of the community, developing partnerships with health professionals to promote key messages and practices.
This will include information and support for children and more vulnerable adults, the delivery of training, national and local campaigns, tooth brushing programmes and providing a resource centre of teaching aids and promotional material.

we want to focus on as we aim to reduce tooth decay among
CDS will be working to promote good oral health in children and with priority groups for adults. This includes: older people, rural populations, people with learning difficulties, drug and alcohol misuse, hard to reach groups and others at risk of poor oral health.
