An early Christmas present for heyCambridge!

hey!Cambridge receives an early Christmas present from Costello Medical.

9th December 2016

Costello Medical has teamed up with hey!Cambridge to design a whole new brand for this local social enterprise, just in time for Christmas!

hey!Cambridge is a not-for-profit social enterpriseproviding evidenced interventions for children and young people who are experiencing mild or emerging mental health difficulties. They are commissioned by schools to work with children and young people between 4 and 19 years old who may be showing behaviours associated with  anxiety, depression, phobia, mood, conduct or eating difficulties. Costello Medical provides scientific support to the healthcare industry in the analysis, interpretation and communication of clinical and health economic data, and has performed this piece of work for hey!Cambridge on a pro bono basis.

hey!Cambridge was officially launched in April this year, following a successful pilot in the 2015/16 academic year. Currently they are working in five primary schools across Cambridge City, with new schools looking to commission their services. hey!Cambridge approached Costello Medical in February 2016, to ask for help to develop a professional brand identity which matched the professionalism of the services offered.

Damien Ribbans, Project Manager for hey!Cambridge explains more. "hey!Cambridge was started by a group of experienced clinical professionals in health, mental health and education, with support from Cambridge Social Ventures (formerly Social Incubator East). As a startup, we tried to keep costs down and designed all our own material. As we grew, we knew our brand didn't reflect our high quality professional organisation, so we were introduced to Costello Medical and submitted a request for support".

Costello Medical worked with the team at hey!Cambridge to understand the organisation and how it wanted to portray itself. Their graphic designers then used this information to design a whole new brand, which was officially handed over today. SEE ATTACHED PHOTO.

"Our pro bono work is important to us, and hey!Cambridge really fit the goals of our pro bono work in terms of the organisation and what it aims to do" explained Lucy Eddowes, Consultant. "We are really keen to support local social enterprise organisations and charities working in the healthcare field to give something back to our community, as well as helping these organisations to grow using our skills and expertise".

Damien went on to say "We are growing all the time, and this new brand identity will really help to raise our profile, which in turn helps us to help more young people. I want to say a massive thank you to the team at Costello Medical for all their hard work and their commitment to producing a quality product".
